SUNDAY 3RDS

The Sunday 3rds are arguably the closest-knit team in our club, with only one or two players changing over the four years they have been together. This strong sense of continuity and camaraderie has been a hallmark of their identity. They started in Division 6 and have remained in this division for the past five seasons, showing their persistence and commitment to growth. Their most recent campaign saw them achieve their highest league finish yet, securing 4th place. This was a positive end to an otherwise challenging season, especially after the heartbreak of finishing as runners-up in a cup final the previous year. Despite these ups and downs, the Sunday 3rds have consistently demonstrated resilience and a strong team spirit. This season brings new opportunities and changes. With the previous manager stepping down to take on a playing role, a new gaffa has been appointed. This leadership change is accompanied by the arrival of fresh faces, including a young but experienced goalkeeper returning to the fold. These additions bring renewed energy and ambition to the squad. The goal for the Sunday 3rds is clear: to push for promotion and finally break out of Division 6. The blend of new talent and seasoned players, combined with a fresh managerial approach, aims to capitalize on their strong team dynamics and drive them toward success. The team's hard work and determination are expected to pay off as they strive to achieve their long-held aspirations​
